This 220V electric wire wrapping tool has been designed for production and field service operations where wire sizes 18 to 32 AWG are used.
The lightweight housing and the handle design greatly reduce problems normally experienced in repetitive motion injuries, such as carpal tunnel syndrome. All of our wire wrapping tools have a geared drive, a positive indexing mechanism, and a quality electric motor that requires no maintenance.
For the inexperienced operator, we offer models SP 6012, SP 6082, and SP 6312 anti-backforce (ABF) versions. When the operator pulls the trigger, the bit retracts inside the sleeve causing a symmetrical wrap to be achieved on the terminal post. The (ABF) tools are used mostly for training and for customers who use the tool so infrequently that they don't remember the proper technique to make a wire wrap connection.
